A group of Professionals complained the Sri Lanka Anti Muslim campaign to Prasiden Rjapakse with the recorded evidence from various government & Non government organisation.

01	17.2.13	The Bodu Bala Sena - an extremist and anti-Sri Lankan group held a meeting at Maharagama in the Colombo District. At the meeting several anti-Muslim statements were made including the distribution of printed material spreading hate against Muslims.
02	26.2.13	A short message seeking to cause anti – Muslim hatred was being circulated on mobile phone networks. The message stated that Muslim extremists were planning to attack Sinhala Buddhists and that Muslims with weapons training were already stationed in places. A written complaint was forwarded to the Secretary – Ministry of Defence, the Inspector General of Police and others. IGP Ref: Staff/03/IGP/2811/12
03	03.3.13	The Bodu Bala Sena held another meeting in Melsiripura in the Kurunegala District and the organisation continued its anti-Muslim rhetoric.
04	05.3.13	A Muslim owned driving school has been forced to close down by a Buddhist priest. The driving school is located near the Sabaragamuwa University. The owner went to the Samanalawewa Police station to make a complaint but the Police have not recorded his complaint.
05	06.3.13	A female Muslim doctor serving at the Colombo South Teaching Hospital was attacked and subject to verbal abuse by a Sinhalese male. The suspect was arrested subsequently and released as the complainant did not wish to pursue the matter any further. Sri Lanka Police Kohuwela Ref: CIB ii 139/50
06	06.3.13	The District Medical Officer attached to the Deltota Divisional Hospital Dr K G Dissanayake has ordered that all Muslim women must remove their shawls, hijabs, purdahs and abaya etc if they wish to receive treatment.
07	08.3.13	A female Muslim who had accompanied a patient at the Kandy Teaching Hospital Ward No III was asked to remove her hijab and abaya by the nurses serving at the ward.
08	09.3.13	A female Muslim who had visited a patient at the Kandy Teaching Hospital Ward No III was asked to remove her shawl by the nurses serving at the ward. She was attired in a shawl and shalwar kameez.
09	10.3.13	The Bodu Bala Sena - an extremist and anti-Sri Lankan group held a meeting in Malabe in the Colombo District. At the meeting several anti-Muslim statements were made including the distribution of a leaflet spreading hate against Muslims.
10	12.3.13	An incident of drunkenness, disorderly and racist conduct was reported from the vicinity of the Nelliyagama Jummah Masjid in Palagala in the Anuradhapura district. A complaint was lodged with the Inspector General of Police particularly with regard to Police inaction. Sri Lanka Police Galkiriyagama has commenced investigations.
11	17.3.13	A female Muslim public servant was attacked by a two men in a motor cycle in Manampitiya in the Polonnaruwa District. They ripped off her hijab as they rode past her. Sri Lanka Police Polonaruwa Ref: CW/IB i 70/179
12	17.3.13	The Bodu Bala Sena held another meeting at Kandy. At the meeting several anti-Muslim statements were made including a statement by Mawathagama Pemanandahimi who stated that the Holy Quran orders Muslims to spit three time before serving food to non-Muslims.
13	19.3.13	A Mosque in Tittawela in Kurunegala was defaced with anti-Muslim posters pasted on its walls.
14	23.3.13	Young Muslim girls were harassed by a group of Sinhalese men who had pulled their abaya at Hendala junction in the Colombo District.
15	24.3.13	The Bodu Bala Sena held another meeting in Panadura in the Colombo District were they are reported to have incited hatred against Muslims.
16	24.3.13	A Muslim man was assaulted by a group of Sinhalese men returning from the Bodu Bala Sena meeting in Panadura. Panadura Police Ref: IB i 302/562
17	24.3.13	Around 20 male and female Muslim Samurdhi recipients from Baduwatte, Eheliyagoda who had gone to a temple in Udathalawitiya, Eheliyagoda in the Ratnapura District to receive their payments were asked to remove their Islamic attire as a pre-condition to receiving their Samurdhi payments. A group returned without any Samurdhi benefits as they refused to comply.
18	25.3.13	Anti-Muslim handbills were distributed in Mawanella in the Kegalle District by the Sinhala Api organisation. A protest march was also organised however on the intervention of the range Deputy Inspector General of Police, the protest march was cancelled.
19	26.3.13	Anti-Sinhalese posters appeared in Kandy and in Gampola seeking to incite enmity between Sinhalese and Muslims.
20	27.3.13	A female Muslim who went to the Kandy Teaching Hospital Ward No: III was asked to remove her abaya and hijab.
21	28.3.13	Two pig heads were found thrown into the land of a Muslim in Maggona in the Kalutara District. Upon contacting the Police on 119 emergency hotline the Payagala Police have visited the scene.
22	28.3.13	The Bodu Bala Sena held a meeting at the Mahajana Grounds in Kekirewa in the Anuradhapura. The speakers made several anti-Muslim and inflammatory remarks.
23	28.3.13	Muslim owned clothing retailer ‘Fashion Bug’ and another Muslim owned heavy machinery hiring establishment were attacked by a Sinhalese mob and caused injury to employees and media personnel apart from causing severe damage to buildings. Suspects were produced before the Gangodawila Magistrate and the complainant settled the matter.
24	29.3.13	The Bodu Bala Sena held a meeting in Elpitiya in the Galle District and has directed Sinhalese shop owners who have rented their shops to Muslims to ask for the premises to be vacated. The news was publicised as Elpitiya being ‘liberated’ from Muslims.
25	30.3.13	A mosque in Mallikarama, Dematagoda in the Colombo District received a letter under the letter head of the Bodu Bala Sena threatening it to close down. Sri Lanka Police Dematagoda Ref: CIB I 362/439
26	30.3.13	The Islamic Book House at Dematagoda Road, in the Colombo District received a letter under the letter head of the Bodu Bala Sena threatening it to close down. Sri Lanka Police Dematagoda Ref: CIB i 200/398
27	30.3.13	An Islamic institution by the name of ‘Nida-ul-Khair’ in Kolonnawa in the Colombo District received a letter under the letter head of the Bodu Bala Sena threatening it to close down.
28	30.3.13	A mosque in Maligakanda in Colombo 9 received a letter under the letter head of the Bodu Bala Sena threatening it to close down.
29	31.3.13	The Bodu Bala Sena held a meeting in Pannala in the Kurunegala District where it continued its anti-Muslim hate rhetoric.
30	31.3.13	Another hate short message against Muslims was being circulated through mobile number 077 928 3969 was reported to the Sri Lanka Police through their designated telephone numbers.
31	31.3.13	An anti-Muslim meeting was held at White Park, Colombo 9 with large number of people being transported from outside areas to attend the meeting.
